Austrian navy gets own department according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1912-1913 no. 10

An item reported that the combined department of war and navy was a failure. Decided was to found on short notice an independent department of navy and a naval staff. The chief of the naval staff would become in war times commander in chief of the fleet.
