New French torpedo boats very fast according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1933 no. 6

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht dated 20 August 1933 reporting that the tests with the newest torpedo motor boats were quite successful. After just 3 minutes they already achieve a speed of 48 knots which was increased to 52 knots. With a displacement of 190 ton was their length 19,5 metres and the horsepower 2.000 hp. The boats were stationed at Cherbourg.
