The Italian naval budget for 1914-1915 according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1913-1914 no. 9

An item reported that the Italian naval budget for 1914-1915 was estimated to be 257/420.000 lires. The cabinet intended to ask the Parliament to approve another 30.000.000 lire for the budget 1915-1916. For new building was 10.000.000 lires asked more as for 1913-1914. It was the intention to ask yearly more money for newbuilding until in 1917-1918 a budget of 120.000.000 lires was available. The personnel strength increased with 3.000 men to a total of 38.000 men causing an increase of the budget with 1.982.000 lires.
