The French naval budget according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1894-1895 no. 9

An item referred to the magazine le Yacht reporting that the French navy requested 86.104.529 francs for renewing the fleet of which the half was needed for the ships at that moment being built at naval and private shipyards.
