An item dated Flushing the 20th reported that in the afternoon of two days earlier the frigate Aurora was launched and a day later were at the now available slip the keels laid down of 3 flat-bottomed vessels.(1) The newspaper Oprechte Haarlemse courant dated the 22nd confirmed the launching.(2)
