German steam tanker Kattegat sunk according to the Dutch newspaper De Maasbode dated 15 April 1940

An item reported that the German steam tanker Kattegat sunk. With a gross tonnage of 6.031 and a net tonnage pf 3.390 tons was she built in 1928 at Gdansk and property of John T. Essberger at Hamburg.
