Italians tugs with engine troubles entering Barcelona according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 6 November 1915

An item dated Barcelona 30 October reported the arrival of the Italian tug no. 2 while towing the tug no. 3 underway from Rotterdam towards Genoa. Both tugs were suffering engine problems caused by the worse weather conditions underway. The condenser pipes were also damaged. Although their hulls were undamaged were the decks appalled. The needed repairs lasted around a week.
