British steamship Flaminian sunk according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 1 April 1915

An item dated dated London 31 March reported that the British steamship Flaminian with a gross tonnage of 3.500 tons sunk last Tuesday 50 miles off the Scillies while underway from Glasgow to the Cape. Her crew numbering 41 men was saved by the Danish steamship Finlandia and landed at Holyhead. The Flaminian had been property of the Ellerman Line of Liverpool.
