Spanish frigate Gertrude arrived at Malta according to the Dutch newspaper Ommelander Courant dated 18 November 1788

Malta, 1 October. The Spanish 40-gun frigate Gertrude arrived at Malta escorting a Venetian ship on which the ambassador of Tripoly was on returning from Madrid to his own country.
