Cadiz, 16 July. The Spanish frigate Parel arrived yesterday
in this harbour while escorting a considerable number of merchant ships from
Spanish harbours in the Mediterranean. She was ordered to return immediately to
join the Havana expedition. Since 10 June captured Colombian privateers 40
vessels of 40-120 tons from the merchant trade of Cadiz.
