The British and French navies in the Mediterranean according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 4 February 1850

Tidings from Constantinople dated until 12 January arrived via Trieste reporting that the British fleet left 9 January Moskenissi ordered to return via Piraeus, Greece to Malta. According to other tidings arrived at Trieste arrived the British fleet 15 January at Piraeus while the French fleet was 14 January still off Smyrna.
