Paris, 29 December 1826. Letters coming from Livorno dated 14 December reported the arrival at Malta of the in America built frigate for Greece [=the Hellas]. Except for her own armament she was loaded with guns for the steamships expected to come from England and with victuals for 3 years. Her crew numbered 300 men, excluded 60 well disciplined soldiers. She was to depart 29 November towards Napoli-di-Romania.
