Turkish squadron fitted out at Constantinople according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 21 February 1826

Constantinople, 12 January. The new squadron which was hastily fitted out here was to be consisting of 4 ships of the line, 3 frigates and 10 corvettes and brigs. Recently were 40 sub officers appointed as captains and lieutenants and it were expected that the Pasha of Braila, Ibrahim, was to command the troops which were to embark on board of the ships.
