The Mexican and Columbian navies off Havana according to the Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 7 January 1826

Cadiz. 13 December. Via London arrived letters from Havana dated 26 October. According to their content appeared a Mexican squadron, consisting of 1 hulk and 3 war brigs off Havana. The expectation was that any moment also Columbian warships would appear to join the Mexicans and to attack the awaited expedition of Ferrol.
