An item dated Athens, Greece the 25th reported that the probably sale of the Greek navy to the USA still was discussed. Some week earlier offered the US government to pay 45 million francs for the complete fleet.(1) Several newspapers tried to persuade the Greek cabinet to accept this proposition.
