Dutch air defence frigate Hr.Ms. Witte de With (F813) 1981-2005 and Chilean Capitán Prat (FFG11) 2006-

Keel laid down at the shipyard of the Koninklijke Schelde Groep at Vlissingen, Netherlands with yard number 363 on 15 December 1981, launched on 25 August 1984, commissioned on 17 September 1986 and decommissioned on 26 May 2005. Sold on 27 March 2004 to Chile and handed over on 17 July 2006. Part of the Jacob van Heemskerck-class with just one sister ship.. Improved Kortenaer-class with a high situated SMART-S radar and in stead of a 7,6cm quick firing gun a standard missile medium range system. Dutch specifications: displacement of 3.750 ton and as dimensions 130,5 x 14,6  x 6,2 metres. The horsepower of 56.000 hp allowed a speed of more as 32 knots. The armament consisted of 2x4 Harpoon, Standard Missile (40xSM), Nato Sea Sparrow (6xNSSM)m 1 Goalkeeper, 2x2 torpedo tubes for use of MK=46 torpedoes , 4x6 SRBOC launching system and 2-2cm Oerlikons.
