Columbia not seizing foreign merchant ships according to the Dutch newspaper Noordbrabantsch dagblad het huisgezin dated 5 April 1941

An item dated Bogota, Columbia 4th reported that the Columbian cabinet did not intend to seize foreign merchant ships stated the department for foreign affairs. In contrary to other American countries was decided to protect foreign ships in all manners. In the harbour of Cartagena were at that moment 2 Italian ships lying.
