Dutch Greenland seal hunters Noordpool and Dirkje Adama successful according to the Dutch newspaper Nieuwe Courant van Den Helder dated 28 June 1862

An item referred to tidings received from Harlingen, Netherlands the 24th reporting that the Greenland seal hunter Noordpool with as book-keepers the firm Zeilmaker&Co. had been successful with a catch of 2.500 young and 950 elder seals. A tiding received from Norway reported that the Greenland seal hunter Dirkje Adama commandeur Wildts of the firm Barend Visser&Zoon had a catch on that moment of 1.800 seals Tidings from Germany dated 23 May spoke of a catch of 2.300 seals.
