Raw materials for war rafts delivered in 1878 by the shipyard Kon. Mij. De Schelde at Vlissingen, Netherlands

According to the order administration page 15 dated 31 October 1878 delivered the shipyard Kon.Mij. De Schelde at Vlissingen, Netherlands the metal and iron work to the Dutch Department for Colonies needed for 4 war rafts. The contracted price was ƒ 7.950. The real costs were however ƒ 8.344,56 (labour ƒ 3.230,88+43% expenses ƒ 1.389,28+materials ƒ 3.375,52+cash deck expenses ƒ 348,88) causing a loss for the shipyard of ƒ 394,56.
