Dutch bark Gerhardus arrived at Pensacola, USA coming from Middelburg, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Midelburgsche Courant dated 12 April 1888

An item reported that the Dutch bark ship Gerhardus (1) captain W. Bruijn of De Groof&Co., Vlissingen, Netherlands arrived on the 10th at Pensacola, USA coming from Middelburg, Netherlands. Everything was well on board.

1. Former German Gerhard (built in 1860) and renamed Gerhardus. Since 1892 (?) property of H.R. Engelsman, Stadskanaal, Netherlands.
