Dutch frigate Willem de Eerste laid down at Schiedam, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Zierikzeesche Courant dated 1 August 1837

An item reported that on 8 July at the shipyard de Nijverheid of Gips at Schiedam, Netherlands that immediately after the launching of the Eendracht the keel was laid down of the frigate ship Willem de Eerste of 500 lasten.
