Dutch sailing vessel (ex-Jannetje Margaretha 1916-1926, Gertrud 1926-1987) De Gallant 1916-

Netherlands-flagged, IMO 0907311, MMSI 246186000 and callsign PDPS. Dimensions 27,20-36,20 (over all) x 6,60 x 2,70 metres and a displacement of 160 tons. Sail area 415 square metres. Built in 1916 as a North Sea sailing lugger at the shipyard of gebroeders Figee, Vlaardingen, Netherlands. Sold in 1926 towards Denmark where she was fitted out with an engine and used as the stone fishing vessel Gertrud. In 1987 bought by the Stichting Zeilschip de Gallant and converted into a 2-mast gaff top sailing schooner and since 1993 operated as a passenger ship/training ship on the Northsea, British Channel and the Baltic.
