Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Arend arrived at Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 20 November 1821

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 15 November reported the arrival on 15 June of the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Arend captain A. van Dalen at Batavia, Dutch East Indies. Her last stop had been Rio Janeiro, Brazil.(1)
