Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Castor forced to return to den Helder, Netherlands while leaking according to the Dutch newspaper Weekblad van Den Helder en het Nieuwediep dated 28 August 1843

An item dated Den Helder, Netherlands the 26th reported that on the 23rd the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Castor captain lieutenant  Söhningen returned on the roads of Den Helder due to leaking. She was part of the recently departed training squadron. The edition dated 11 September reported her departure to the Mediterranean on the 7th.
