Movements of Dutch warships according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 4 August 1832

An item dated Vlissingen, Netherlands the 3rd reported that two days earlier the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Triton (1) commanded by Edeling arrived on the roads with embarked a huge number of voluntarily sailors destined for the squadron on the Schelde. The Dutch frigate Zr.Ms.Javaan (2) and the brigs Zr.Ms. Panther (3) and Brak (4) were lying on the roads ready to begun with a cruising voyage. In the edition of the 7th was this item corrected. In stead of the Triton arrived the Zr.Ms. Panther commanded by Edeling. The Zr.Ms. Triton commanded by Van Son was still expected. The edition Tuesday the 14th reported that the Zr.Ms. Triton commanded by Van Son arrived the Friday before on the roads with embarked a huge number of voluntarily sailors destined for the squadron on the Schelde. The edition dated the 16th reported her departure from Vlissingen towards Texel on the 12th.
