Dutch ship Jason transported troops to the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch Handelsblad dated 24 December 1859

An item reported the arrival on 8 November at Rotterdam, Netherlands of a detachment of 160 military command by lieutenant colonel W.E. Kroesen to embark the Dutch ship Jason captain J.H. Lammerts van Bueren bound for Java, Dutch East Indies.
