Venezuelan steamship Maparari visited Willemstad, Curacao according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 6 June 1868

An item reported the arrival on Thursday the 4th of the Venezuelan steam warship Maparari commanded by R. Todd coming from Coro and returning the same afternoon. On board was the president of the United States of Venezuela marshal J.C. Falcon.(1) The edition dated 13 June reported the arrival in Saturday the 6th coming from Coro with the family of the president. She left on Tuesday the 9th towards La Guayra.
