Wood-built screw steam sloop launched at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, USA on 23 May 1865, commissioned on 15 November, decommissioned on 20 December 1871 and finally disassembled and in fact complete newly rebuilt. With a displacement of 1.131 tons/1,113 long tons were her dimensions 65,8 x 9,1 x 4,0 metres or 216’x 30’x 13’. With a speed of 12 knots, a crew numbering 164 men and an armament consisting of 1-60pd gun, 6-32pd guns and 3-20pd howitzers.
