Dutch schooner Zr.Ms. Zephijr departed Surabaya towards Timor Koepang in the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Javasche courant dated 17 November 1841

An item reported the departure on 5th November from Surabaya, Dutch East Indies of the Dutch schooner Zr.Ms. Zephijr lieutenant 1st class P.J. Clijver towards Timor Koepang, Dutch East Indies.(1)

Brigantine/schooner brig, laid down at the shipyard of De Jongh, Kortland&Anthony at Rotterdam, Netherlands 1837, launched 28 November, bought 1838, sold in the Dutch East Indies 1844, bought back December 1845, mentioned as the civil schooner Zephyr heavily leaking and described as worthless and added as tender to the guard ship at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies 1846, condemned as useless 1848, dimensions 28,5 x 8,7 x 3,15 metres, a displacement of 252 tons and an armament of 5 guns.
