Dutch kruisboot no. 17 visited Tanara, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Javasche courant dated 31 October 1838

An item reported the arrival on 24th October at Tanara, Dutch East Indies of the Dutch kruisboot no. 47 commanded by Katjong coming from Batavia, Dutch East Indies. Departed on the 25th for patrolling in the west.
