Dutch kruisboot No. 45 visited Tanara, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Javasche courant dated 27 June 1838

An item reported the arrival on 22 June Tanara, Dutch East Indies of the Dutch kruisboot No. 45 commanded by Daing Brahima coming from Batavia. The same day departed she for a patrol westward.
