Venezuelan steam warship Libertador bound for St. Thomas according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 25 May 1850

An item referred to tidings received from Puerto Cabello reporting that the Venezuelan steam warship Libertador departed from there to Barcelona to load coal, embark at Cumana general Paez and continued her voyage towards St. Thomas.(1)

1. The island Sankt Thomas was then a Danish colony nowadays part  of the United States Virgin islands.
