Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Pelikaan decommissioned at Willemsoord, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 19 April 1838

An item reprted that the on 20 March the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Pellikaan (1)lieutenant 1st class W. Stort lying at Willemsoord, Netherlands was decommissioned and her officers and crew was transferred to the Dutch transport Zr.Ms. Merwede (2) lying at Hellevoetsluis, Netherlands which ship was commissioned on 21th March.
