British 5th rate Cornelia visited Batavia, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Java Government Gazette dated 29 February 1812

An item reported the arrival at Batavia, Dutch East Indies on 14th February of the British HMS Cornelia commanded by J. Owen coming from Madras, British Indies. Departed on the 28th towards sea.(1)

1. 5th Rate, launched at the shipyard of Temple, S. Shield, England on 26 July 1808, broken up in June 1814, dimensions 142½ x 38 x ?, a 909 tons builders measurement and an armament of 32 guns.
