An item reported that the ship Audubon captain Kingsman was lost early April in the Batavia river entering from the sea while burning, with the loss of her total cargo. She left on 15 March Singapore for New York, USA. Measurement 582 tons. Built in 1846 at Fairhaven, Massachusetts, USA and now property of Messrs. Williams&Daland.
