Dutch East Indiaman Azië bound for the Dutch East Indies in 1766

She left on 29 December 1766 Rammekens, Netherlands with as captain Michiel Godfried Lehman visited Cape of Good Hope, South Africa between 8-26 April 1766 and arrived at Batavia, Dutch East Indies on 1 July 1767. On board were at the departure 345 persons. Renamed at Batavia Ouderamstel. Tonnage 1.100 tons. Of the Chamber Zeeland and sailed for account of this chamber. Also called Asia, 3-decker, building no. 232, on stocks by Willem Udemans at the E.I.C. yard at Middelburg, Netherlands on 30 July 1765, launched on 24 April 1766 and a length of 150
