British 6th rate HMS Mersey departed Curacao towards Bonaire according to the Dutch newspaper De Curacaosche courant dated 25 July 1829

An item reported the departure on Wednesday the 22nd of the British corvette Mercey captain Courtenay towards Bonaire.(1)

1. Probably the British 6th rate HMS Mersey launched at the shipyard of Courtney, Chester, England in March 1814, since 1832 harbour service and finally broken up in July 1852, with a builders measurement of 451 tons and an armament of 28 guns.
