American whaler Phillipe Delanoye lying at Talcahuano,Chile according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated 21 June 1859

A letter written by captain Gardner on board of the ship Phillipe Delanoye of Fairhaven, USA reports her lying at Talcahuano ready for sea and that she had recruited for another voyage. His cargo consisted of 1.000 barrels sperm and 300 barrels humpback oil. Tonnage 383 tons. Agent Warren Delano. Departed on 20 December 1855 bound for the Pacific.
