An item reported the departure from Willemstad, Curacao on Tuesday of the British corvette HMS Mercey towards La Guayra, Venezuela.(1)

1. Probably the British 6th rate HMS Mersey launched at the shipyard of Courtney, Chester, England in March 1814, since 1832 harbour service and finally broken up in July 1852, with a builders measurement of 451 tons and an armament of 28 guns.
