Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Wesp visited Antwerp, Belgium according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsche courant dated 8 June 1866

An item dated Antwerp, Belgium the 6th reported that in the afternoon of the 5th the Dutch brig Zr.Ms. Wesp lieutenant 1st class Meijer anchored off the town.(1) She was described as a very beautiful built ships, used a training vessel and fishery protection vessel. It usually served in the of the Schelde estuary at Vlissingen, Netherlands. Her crew numbered 67 men excluded the officers but included 50 trainees.
