German whalers and seal hunters arrived in Germany returning from Greenland according to the Dutch newspaper Amsterdamsche courant dated 17 July 1756

An item dated Hamburg, Germany 13th reported the arrival on the Elbe of Jochem Kroeser with 100 quardelen seal blubber, Roelof Jansz with 6 whales, 130 quardelen and Booy Rockmers with 6 whales, 160 quardelen returning from Greenland.
