Russian squadron steaming towards Gulf of Dagoe without seeing Allied fleet according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsche courant dated 20 November 1854

An item dated Hamburg, Germany 18th reported that a Russian force consisting of 14 steamships left Sveaborg steaming towards Dagoe at the entrance of the Gulf [Finland] without meeting the Allied fleet.(1)
