Movements of Dutch warships Juno, Castor, Rijn and Jason according to the Dutch newspaper Vlissingse Courant dated 21 September 1842

An item reported that in October the Dutch corvette Zr.Ms. Juno (1) was to depart towards Surinam to replace the corvette Zr.Ms. Castor (2) which was no longer suited for service in those waters. The Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Rijn (3) captain lieutenant Byl de Vroe and the frigate Zr.Ms. Jason (4) captain Van der Plaat would depart in the same moth towards the Mediterranean.
