Steamship Rochelle sighted without the Dutch tug Atlas which was to tow her according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 2 May 1914

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 1 May reported that the steamship Rochelle which was being towed by the Dutch tug Atlas was sighted in the morning o 30 April at 09.20 o’clock 35 miles west of Land’s End without any sight of the tug.
