British steamship John Miles sunk by German submarine according to the Dutch newspaper Tilburgsche courant dated 23 February 1917

An item dated London, England 23rd reported that four seriously wounded men and the dead bodies of 2 men were brought on land. The men belonged to the British steamship John Miles which was destroyed by a German submarine. Fourteen crewmembers were still missing.
