German steamship Susanne underway from Sweden towards USA returned to Queenstown, Ireland with problems according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 5 June 1902

An item dated London, England 3rd reported that the German ship Susanne which departed Stockholm, Sweden towards New York, USA returned towards Queenstown, Ireland [nowdays called Cork] signalling off Old Head of Kinsale, Ireland that a mast was broken and that she was heavily damaged asking for a tug. Later tidings reported that she was now towed by the tug Clyde towards Queenstown passing Roche’s Point.
