Swedish icebreaker Oden 1989-

Sweden-flagged, homeport Norrkoping, IMO 8700876, MMSI 265182000 and callsign SMLQ. Gross tonnage 9.605 tons, net tonnage 2.881 tons, summer deadweight 4.906 tons, displacement 11.000-13.000 ton and as dimensions 107,8 x 25,0 (amidships) 31,0 (maximum) x 7,0-8,5 x 12 (hold) metres or 354‘x 82.0‘-101,7‘ x 23.0-27.9‘x 39‘. Able to break ice with a thickness of 1,9 metres with a speed of 3 knots. Main engines are x x4.500 kW Sulzer 8ZA4OS 8 cylinder engines allowing a speed of 3 (icebreaking)-16,0 (open water) knots. Range with a speed of 13 knots 30.000 nautical miles and with an endurance of 100 days. Her crew numbers 15 men. Laid down on 19 October 1986, baptized Oden on 25 August  1988 launched  at the Gotaverken Cityvarvet, Gothenburg, Sweden with yard number 953 on 27 August 1989. Owned by Sjofartsverket Rederi at Norrkoping, Sweden and managed by Viking Supply Ships, Copenhagen, Denmark.
