Dutch East Indiaman Coevorden bound for Ceylon in 1686

Spiegelschip. She left on 4 February Vlissingen, Netherlands, sailed via S. Tiago, Cape Verde, visited Cape of Good Hope, South Africa between 5-22 June 1686 and arrived at Ceylon on 27 September 1686. At the departure were 250 persons on board. Built at Amsterdam, Netherlands in 1674. Fitted out by the chamber Zeeland for this voyage. Tonnage 820 metric tons and as dimensions 150 x 35¼ x x15½, height above 7¼ feet.
