Dutch sail ships Flevo X and Remke destroyed by German submarines according to the Dutch newspaper Het volk dated 7 August 1918

An item reported that the Dutch sail ships Flevo X of the shipping company Flandria and the Remke of ship owner Kramer at Terneuzen, Netherlands were sunk by gunfire of a German submarine on the 2nd. The crew of the Flevo X arrived not earlier as after 10 hours and the crew of the Remke after 8 hours with their boats at South Wold. They were now waiting at London, England for an opportunity to return to the Netherlands. All men on board both ships were rescued.
