American privateer Decatur captured British schooner HMS Dominica according to the Dutch newspaper Staatkundig dagblad van the Departement der Zuiderzee dated 9 November 1813

An item dated Charleston, USA 21th August reported the arrival on the 20th of the American privateer Decatur after 85 days cruising taking with two prizes namely the British schooner HMS Dominica (1) captured the 5th off New England and the London Trader underway from Surinam towards London, England captured a day later.

1. A 10-gun schooner which was captured in 1809 as the French Duc de Wagram, recaptured on 22 May 1814 and finally wrecked of Bermuda on 15 August 1815.
